Perched on the ridge of a valley in Sydney’s southwest, this former Tudor-style student college has been thoughtfully reimagined as a family home.
The project involved a building extension to the east, designed to expand the main living area, capture sweeping views of the valley, and draw more natural light into the heart of the home. Comprehensive interior renovations were also carried out to enhance functionality and flow throughout.
Respecting the home’s 1920s heritage, our approach to furniture, lighting, and decorative elements focused on balancing character with contemporary living. We curated a mix of era-specific pieces and modern design to create a dialogue between past and present—ensuring the interiors felt both grounded in history and relevant for the family’s everyday life.
