Across the apartments and outdoor spaces, Manifold developed a more relaxed and residential expression of the hotel’s broader design language. Within the residences, custom bedheads, window coverings, decorative lighting, artwork and objects were carefully layered to create a sense of warmth, character and lived-in ease. This approach extended outdoors through the apartment terraces, rooftop and poolside areas, where custom furniture, material selections and considered proportions established open-air spaces that feel generous, informal and connected to Byron Bay’s climate without relying on familiar coastal tropes.
